One of the most motivating things you can do for your students and for yourself is to broaden your understanding of teaching by improving your teaching skills and continuing to define your teacher beliefs. The iTDi Teacher Development (TD) course has exactly what in-service teachers need: a focus on developing skills in the classroom, a chance to study with experts like Scott Thornbury and Adrian Doff, and a collaborative community of teachers to share insights and ideas with. English For Teachers (EFT) provides teachers with the two keys they need to further develop themselves professionally: better English language skills and increased confidence to discuss teaching. In EFT lessons, you'll improve language skills while discussing one of the big questions in teaching: What does it mean to be a teacher? How can I teach for different learning styles? Should I use technology in teaching? In every lesson, you'll listen to and read about how real teachers like you deal with these big issues in their classrooms. You'll also have the chance to interact with these teachers and others as you share your own experiences and opinions in the EFT Forum, a safe, caring and private community where fellow participants, mentor teachers and EFT Associates gather together with a common goal - to become better English teachers and further develop English language skills.
